7 Things You Can Do Every Morning to Keep Your House Spotless

7 Things You Can Do Every Morning to Keep Your House Spotless

We all want to have a clean house. The problem is that it can be hard to find the time to keep it clean.

Here are just 7 simple things that you can do every morning to keep your house looking cleaner through the day.

Once you start using these tips in your morning routine, then you will have a clean house to enjoy everyday.

You also won’t have to worry about someone stopping by and having the house be a disaster.

These tips have really helped me to keep my house much cleaner and I hope that they help you too!

1. Put Your Laundry Away

One thing that makes your house look very messy is having laundry out.

It only takes a few minutes to put your laundry away.

Just take the few extra minutes every morning and make sure that your dirty laundry is in the laundry basket and that your clean laundry is folded and put away.

If you make the time to do this every morning then it will be less overwhelming and you will stay caught up and keep your house cleaner.

2. Clear off Your Table

Somehow everything seems to land on the table.

It’s an easy catch all for all kinds of things, but it will make your house look so messy if you don’t clear it off.

Make sure you take some time to clear it off every morning.

Even if you don’t have time to put it all away right then.

You can place it in a storage basket off to the corner of the room and go through it later. Just make sure everything is off the table.

3. Wipe Your Counters

Take a few minutes to clear and wipe down your kitchen counters.

When your kitchen is clean and wiped down it just makes your house feel so much cleaner.

I know that this can sometimes be the last thing that you want to do in the morning, but by taking the extra time to get this done your house will look so much cleaner.

4. Put Your Dishes Away

Nothing makes a house look more messy than having dirty dishes laying around.

Make sure that you put all your dirty dishes away into the dishwasher.

If you don’t have a dishwasher then you might want to get into the habit of washing your dishes the night before.

You just don’t want to have any dirty dishes laying around.

5. Quickly Sweep or Vacuum

You don’t have to do a deep clean and mop.

Just use a hand held cordless vacuum to quickly go over your floors to get them cleaned.

If you don’t have a hand held vacuum then just use your broom.

You can even get an electronic Swiffer Sweeper Mop.

They also have the vacuums like the Irobot that you might want to invest in that will clean your floors all day long and you don’t even have to do a thing.

This might be a great option if you are really pressed for time.

6. Make Your Bed

You should really get in the habit of making your bed right when you get up in the morning.

This is just a good way to start your day, and it will make your bedroom look instantly cleaner.

If you make your bed first thing in the morning you won’t have to worry about making it later in the day.

Plus, you will get to crawl into a nicely made bed every single night.

When you have stuff on your floors it’s hard to keep your house looking clean.

By just taking a few minutes a day to go over your floors each morning they will look good the entire day.

I don’t know how floors get so dirty everyday!

But this is one of my favorite tips because it really does make a difference.

7. Hang Up Your Bathroom Towels

It can be easy to just throw your towels on the ground after your shower.

This just makes your bathroom look so cluttered and messy.

Take the extra few moments to hang up your towels to let them dry.

If you have kids this is a really good habit to try and teach them as well.

Not only does it help your bathroom to look cleaner and more organized, it keeps your towels from getting smelly since they can properly dry when they are hung up.

I hope that you can start using these tips every morning to make your house look more organized and keep it looking clean everyday.

Even if you don’t have time to do all five each morning, just start by picking a few and working them into your routine.

Then you can add the rest in after a while.

Once you get in the habit and this becomes part of your daily schedule then your house will be looking spotless every single day.
